There was a time when this plant was a common sight in every garden. As it starts to mature very early on in the year it was usually harvested when (and probably because) nothing else was ripe With its harsh, slightly biting aroma one could say it has an acquired taste.
Growing instructions
Hardy perennial. Prefers a sunny location. Sow early spring indoors. Pot up the seedlings into individual pots as soon as the first true leaf appears and plant them out after the last expected frosts.
